Construction Updates

                  September 8th – September 14th, 2007

Friday, Sept. 7, and, possibly, into Monday, Sept. 10, concrete placements will take place in the former Marcus Lab and the future lobby space on the west side of the temporary barrier (i.e., out of sight).  The concrete pump will be positioned outside McKay and concrete will be pumped through a window into each of these spaces; concrete trucks will enter/exit the courtyard space throughout.  The pump will generate noise and, I just imagine, that the concrete being pumped into a building will look strange.  The operation will begin as early as 6:30 AM and may continue late into the afternoon(s).
